Project Description
Syllabi Compilation Web Application students with disabilities at RIT (ADD,ADHD,Time Management)
Possible Features:
- Professor Side Management - the ability for a professor to create or port their syllabus in the software so that we have the same expected interface to manipulate data from. As you can imagine there are many benefits to this(both for the teacher and the student).
- Time Management - the ability to track time on each task. So that a student can look back and analyze the amount of time they took on each assignment and plan their time accordingly each week.
- Smart Time Management - the ability for the system to use the data from inputted time management and analyze it for you giving you an estimate on your work-load each week. Obviously there would be a grace period to get accurate data. Though, we see this as a very useful feature.
- Mobile Device Picture Scanning - the ability to take a photo of a syllabus
with your mobile device and for it to be automatically loaded into the
system with all of your assignments/readings/exams. This may be slightly
out of scope for this project but it illustrates the possibilities.
